Not every 3D print is the same. The machine decides how much of a face actually survives. Here are both, shown at the same magnification.

Resin is slower to run and needs a wash and a UV cure before anyone can touch it. It is also the only process where a face this small still reads as a face. That difference is what you are paying for.
